Creative Problem Solving Through Art
Fostering Mental Health, Resilience, and Critical Thinking
This 2-hour art therapy group offers youth participants (ages 9-12) the chance to develop mental health skills and emotional resilience through creativity and collaboration. By engaging in structured painting and building activities, participants will face manageable challenges designed to promote critical thinking and emotional regulation.
Each task provides an opportunity to navigate problem-solving in a supportive environment, fostering communication, cooperation, and adaptability. Along the way, participants will explore their emotions, practice mindful self-inquiry, and build confidence in their ability to overcome obstacles.
Through the power of art and creative problem solving, this workshop transforms challenges into pathways for personal growth, mental wellness, and a sense of accomplishment.
This art therapy workshop is facilitated by Board-Certified Art Therapist, Jaclyn Lenz.
