Trauma-Informed Yoga
6-week series at Zen Rabbit Yoga
This series is designed specifically for women looking for a safe space to practice yoga for healing, and is structured to support and heal your mind, body, and spirit from the impacts of trauma, grief, or of an over-stressed nervous system. This series also incorporates mindful practices to help you explore, transform, and heal from painful experiences as you process through difficult emotions in meaningful ways and more personally support the depth of your healing yoga practice.
Through honoring our bodies and expressing our thoughts through more than words, we allow our minds and our hearts the space we need to heal.
This six-week class series will guide you through trauma-informed yoga practices (gentle vinyasa-flow yoga; restorative yoga, and yoga nidra), meditation, and mindfulness practices. Each session is intentionally tailored to promote healing and relaxation of the mind and body. The atmosphere will be structured to nurture your soul, and will include tea, aroma therapy (essential oils), and yoga/meditation props.
The group size will be small, capped at 10 women.
