Trust the Process, Trust the Journey: A Labyrinth Art Therapy Workshop

  • HeARTS for Hope Therapy 15 Wellington Avenue Greenville, SC, 29609 United States (map)

A labyrinth is a symbolic metaphor for life’s journey.

A labyrinth looks much like a maze at first glance, with twists and turns that can bring up confusion, fear, or leave you feeling lost in the unknown. However, unlike a maze, there are no dead ends or 'wrong’ turns in a labyrinth. While the direction of the journey may seem unclear, you can learn to trust the path and be guided by your intuition.

Date: Sunday April 6th, 2025

Time: 1:00 - 3:00 PM EST

Location: HeARTS for Hope Therapy

Cost: $40

Join art therapist Courtney Chandler for this interactive art therapy workshop, where you'll take your own journey into a labyrinth—a tactile tool for meditation, contemplation, somatic awareness and mindfulness.

You’ll learn and explore the concepts of the labyrinth archetype and how it is a framework for reflecting on your life’s journey. You’ll create your very own handheld labyrinth using mixed media art materials.

This workshop will also guide you through several insight-oriented practices that integrate the expressive arts, somatic therapy, journaling, and discussion.

Join us for this exploration of the labyrinth and enhance your own personal growth, spiritual connection, and develop a new tool for self-inquiry.

This labyrinth art therapy experience is facilitated by art therapist, Courtney Chandler, ATR-BC, LPC, AADC, E-RYT.

All art materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own journal if you would like.

No formal art experience necessary, the only requirement is to show up for yourself with an open-mind and willingness to tap into your creativity, and a desire to connect more deeply to your inner Self.
